Erik RuuskaAs a design intern at Forth+Back, I contributed to the art direction and motion applications of BPM, a typeface designed by the studio. BPM, which stands for Beats Per Minute, features a subtle reverse contrast, inspired by digital and analogue audio engineering brands and interfaces.

Each character in BPM extends, dips, and rises according to its form, creating a harmonious rhythm when used in text.
